atx Scores

The Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department conducts the permitting and inspection of over 4000 food establishments in Austin, several local municipalities and rural Travis County.

The inspection scores are published on the City of Austin data portal.

This website allows you to search the restaurant score data.

Help

Just type your search criteria into the box and click the "Search" button.

You can search on a restaurant name, street address, city, or zip.

Searches are case insensitive. For instance, "LAMAR" and "lamar" match the same things.

Searches must match exactly. For instance, "MoPac Expressway" will not match "MoPac Expy".

The search tries to be smart about punctuation and pluralization. For instance, "Starbucks" also will match "Starbuck's". For that matter, just "Starbuck" will match both as well.

For best results, simple queries such as "Trudys" or "Anderson" work best.
